Research Interests

​Paul Buijs has been involved in water technology projects since 1990, working on a wide range of topics: conventional drinking water treatment, water treatment residuals, membrane separation processes, drinking water distribution, (industrial) waste water treatment, cooling- and boiler water treatment, UV disinfection and oxidation processes, and virus control.

Paul’s roles range from research to consultancy, capacity building, sales and management, serving clients in industry as well as (semi) government.

His international experience includes Europe, North and South America, South Africa, South East Asia and the Middle East, representing individual companies as well as The Netherlands water technology industry sector.
