Research Interests

​Andreia’s main scientific interests are related to the synthesis and applications of organic molecules and the specific effects of ions at air-water interface. Water treatment is one of the most changeling fields for her. Making use of her background as organic and supramolecular chemist she aims at the development of new nanotechnologies for selective recognition of water pollutants and posterior removal and physical degradation.
