Molecular level understanding of arrangements of molecules and interplay & influence of hydrogen bonding, electrostatic force, Van der Waals force, etc. in hydrophobic forces
Nanoscale characterization of the interaction of polymers with biological interfaces to optimize their properties for lubrication and bio-adhesion.
