​Dr. Rozendal is the Chief Technology Officer at Paques BV. He studied biochemical engineering at the Delft University of Technology followed by a Ph.D. in Environmental Technology at Wageningen University and Wetsus, centre of excellence for sustainable water technology. After finishing his Ph.D., he worked as a Research Fellow at the Advanced Water Management Centre of The University of Queensland, focusing on the development of novel bioelectrochemical wastewater treatment processes. In 2011, he moved back to The Netherlands and now is the Chief Technology Officer of Paques, where he leads an R&D group of more than 20 people.
