Dr. Deepak Pant is Senior Scientist - Separation and Conversion Technologies at the Flemish Institute for Technological Research - VITO, Belgium. He has a Doctorate in Environmental Biotechnology and a Masters in Environmental Science. His main research areas are Sustainable Chemistry, Bioelectrochemical systems, Electrosynthesis, Bioenergy from biomass, Biowaste valorization, Life cycle analysis, Wastewater treatment, Wasteland reclamation and restoration. Also, he has  a PG diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Other expertise includes conceptualization, writing and executing scientific projects; working experience in international environment.​
