​Congratulations to Dr. Hari Ananda Rao for successfully defending his Ph.D. dissertation entitled "Fundamental insights into propionate oxidation in microbial electrolysis cells using a combination of electrochemical, molecular biology and electron balance approaches."

Hari Ananda Rao was advised by Prof. Pascal Saikaly who was also chair of his committe, along with Prof. TorOve Leiknes, Prof. Daniele Daffonchio, and Prof. Bruce Logan.​
