On November 2^nd, Daniyal Jahangir successfully defended of his thesis entitled “Surface Modification of Ceramic Membranes with Thin-film Deposition” under the supervision of Professor TorOve Leiknes.
 
Daniyal came to KAUST four years ago as a Ph.D. student with research focus on membrane fouling, wastewater treatment and membrane bioreactors. He received his M.S. in Chemical & Biological Engineering at the Seoul National University, South Korea in 2012. After his graduation, Daniyal is excited to go back to his home country in Pakistan to spend time with his family before pursuing his career plans.
