​​Moustapha Harb successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation entitled "Microbial-based evaluation of anaerobic membrane bioreactors (AnMBRs) for the sustainable and efficient treatment of municipal wastewater". Harb was advised by Prof. Peiying Hong and he is the twentieth graduate from the WDRC. His research focuses on evaluating emerging wastewater treatment technologies for their sustainability and reuse potential using combined microbial and engineering-based approaches.
