Prof. Leiknes briefed him on WDRC research and facilities;  Ph.D. student Ryan Lefers joined on demonstrating the greenhouse dehumidification project that is focused on improving the growth performance of typical greenhouse crops (tomatoes, lettuce, herbs).  The research is also focused on growing the crops under controlled environment, temperature and humidity, and hollow fiber membranes with circulating liquid desiccant are being used to dehumidify and recapture transpired humidity from the plants. ​
