 Professor Matthew McCabe has been appointed as WDRC Associate Director effective October 2017. 

Matthew joined WDRC since 2012 and have been actively involved in the Center, willingly contributing his ideas and expertise regularly. Before coming to KAUST, Matt was a faculty at the University of New South Wales in Australia. He has also worked at Princeton University and the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, both world-class research institutions.

His research focuses on issues related to water security, climate change impacts, agricultural water use, water resources monitoring and modeling, and the novel use of technologies for enhanced Earth system observation.
