​ Professor Himanshu Mishra and his group members, Dr. Eddy Domingues and Sankara Arunachalam, presented three posters at the 7^th International Colloids Conference in Sitges, Spain during June 18-21, 2017. 

Mishra’s poster, titled "Inexpensive Superhydrophobic Mulches for Desert Agriculture”, was recognized with the Elsevier Best Poster Prize out of ~300 posters. The co-authors of this poster were: Joel Reihmer (WDRC M.S. alumnus), Adair Gallo Jr. (WDRC M.S.-Ph.D. student), Mitchell Morton (KAUST Ph.D. Student, Plant Science), Samir Al-Mashharawi (WDRC researcher), Magdi Mousa (KAU, Jeddah), Professor Matthew McCabe (WDRC), and Professor Mark Tester (KAUST, ​Plant Science)
