Research Interests

Ruiz-Haddad's research focuses on integrating cutting-edge -omic tools (genomic, proteomic, and transcriptomic) to study the microbial ecology of an Aerobic granular sludge (AGS) system for wastewater treatment to design effective strategies for manipulating AGS microbial communities.
