Research Interests

Mariana's research focuses on environmental chemistry with an interest in developing new materials for ecosystem growth and metabolomic analysis. It also involves the investigation of the environmental impact of pollution in various matrices, such as seawater and corals, exploring the availability of metals and their effects on organisms. Additionally, she is involved in developing novel materials for the concentration and removal of metals in water, and conducting research on extraction methods.
