Postdoctoral Fellow

Research Interests

Dr. Raúl Dávalos-Monteiro's research centers on the comprehensive exploration of biocorrosion (Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion -MIC), specifically, through a multifaceted approach encompassing modeling, simulation, and experimental electrochemical testing. Additionally, Dr. Dávalos-Monteiro possesses expertise in the advanced characterization of metallic substrates and polymeric organic coatings. His primary research interests involve: biocorrosion modeling, simulation of electrochemical processes, conventional and localized electrochemical corrosion techniques, and advanced characterization of materials.
