Research Interests

Yevhen's research interest lies in the field of environmental virology. More specifically, I'm working on optimized protocols to improve virus recovery from wastewater and enumerate the viral counts in wastewater. With these new techniques, he hopes to understand more about wastewater virome and how they may relate to epidemiology and/or reactor operational parameters.
